Survey management
The team at CEA has collective experience of decades in managing onshore, intertidal and offshore survey work on behalf of our clients This involves writing specific Invitations to Tender and survey scopes in line with current, accepted guidance and best practice to obtaining approval from the regulators and consultees for survey programmes where this is required. We have a wide network of surveyors, including specialists in the following areas:
- Ornithological
- Marine mammals and subsea noise surveys
- Benthic survey
- Fish surveys
- Intertidal habitats and invertebrates surveys
- Onshore ecological survey
- Marine geophysical and coastal processes surveys
- Contaminated sediments survey

CEA oversee the surveys and manage the overall programme. We are also able to offer peer review of survey scopes and programmes or of the outputs of survey work including reporting and mapping prior to submission to the regulators, where needed. We also have a long track record of achieving discharge of conditions for monitoring programmes required by marine licences or other permissions.
We are also experienced at writing technical reports including; Traffic Management Plans, Design & Access Statements, shadow flicker, TV interference and construction plans.
