Nuclear new build

We have led and coordinated the peer review process of several Environmental Statement chapters and Development Consent Order (DCO) and marine licence application documents for a new nuclear power station including the supporting Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA). This required detailed understanding of the consenting process and associated legislation and guidance. This involved building a team of suitably experienced experts to ensure robust review and provision of practical advice on the work required to complete the documents.

An inspection of procedure and process with regards to EIA, DCO and HRA to identify any internal process/procedural issues that may hamper completion of the various Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) chapters and consenting was also completed. 

We have also provided an inspection of internal environmental management procedures and processes prior to the environmental permit application submissions and preparations for completion of an ISO 14001 management system.
